Microsoft updates co-sell programme, launches Kubernetes tool

Microsoft has now revealed two upgrades to its first co-shell programme for the channel partners, ever since whose launch 12 months ago which is much more close to 3000 independent software vendors working on the Microsoft public cloud Azure that has also generated more than $5 Billion in the revenue.

The first is also an expansion of co-selling to the Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsft 365 and the power platforms in a bid to create a much more deeper collaboration in the selling line of all the business apps.

The second is also to expand into the sales incentives to the Microsoft channels partners that even resell ISV solution with the help of its cloud solution provider programme. This would provide with the small and large ISV a channel as a service platform.

The original co-shell programme was also designed to help the customers in their digital transformation with the relevant solutions from the Azure-based ISV partners.

Microsoft has also revealed a transactable seat based on the Saas capabilities for the Azure marketplace and AppSource. The updates are also expected to benefit around 141 countries with access to the Microsoft cloud marketplaces and with its worldwide reseller channel.

The offering would also allow the enterprises to get the benefits from the Kubernetes, that is also a common bridge between the public cloud movements and data center, which the Microsft and Red hat bet are a key technology in taking the hybrid cloud computing forward.

 “Hybrid cloud provides a clear vision into the future of enterprise computing, where public cloud services stand alongside virtualization, Linux containers, and bare-metal servers. Together, this forms the new data center in the hybrid cloud world,” said Paul Cormier, president, products and technologies, Red Hat.
