Mindtree which is a Medium IT services company has now collaborated with the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore to support the research in the Artificial Intelligence.
The company revealed in a press release that now it has created an endowment which is focused on Artificial Intelligence research with the IISc and the partnership which would be going to facilitate teaching and research for the AI in both the Natural Language Processing and Data Science.
As a part of this programme, the institute students would be going to be introduced to solve the modern business problems with the help of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and work on the development of the high impact solutions at high scale.
It has been named as a Mindtree Associate Professor Chair on AI, the endowment fund is going to be designed to attract dynamic faculty groundbreaking AI research with both the domain experts, technical scholars, and the inaugural Mindtree Associate Professor Chair has also been awarded to the Vijay Natarajan, experience in the relevant field and of 12 and work in the field of computational topology, scientific visualization and computational geometry.

IISc is perfectly poised to be this space, allowing the best minds interested in this area to innovate and develop unique AI-based solutions for current problems. Our collaboration with IISc will help create opportunities to strengthen research in AI and provide our clients an avenue to interact with some of the best minds working in this segment,” Rostow Ravanan, CEO and Managing Director, Mindtree, was quoted saying.
