Mukesh Ambani, the visionary leader at the helm of Reliance Industries Limited, recently unveiled ambitious plans for the company’s future during the celebration of Reliance Family Day. In a short speech, he talked about the important values that make Reliance what it is today, giving respect to the founder, Dhirubhai Ambani.
Ambani cares about important things like doing the right thing, being excellent, understanding others, working together and always trying to get better. He dreams of making Reliance one of the world’s best companies by always coming up with new ideas and not being okay with just staying the same.
Ambani has a plan for the future and he calls it “Three Consolidations.” The first part is about making Reliance really good at digital stuff, data and AI. The second part is about having really talented people because they are super important. And the third part is about keeping the special way of doing things at Reliance alive and well.
Ambani wants Reliance to become a modern tech company. He likes using data and AI to make better decisions and use resources smarter. He dreams of a future where everything at Reliance, like digital services, energy, retail and health, becomes even better and more modern.
Ambani thinks it is important to have really skilled and capable people to help with the changes happening at Reliance. In his view, investing in talent yields greater returns than investing in machines. He wants everyone at Reliance to feel like they own a part of the company. He thinks it is cool if everyone shares the same goals and passion as the founder.
Acknowledging the importance of the younger generation, Ambani urged keeping Reliance forever young by ensuring that the average age of talented teams remains in the 30s. He believes that young leaders like Akash, Isha, Anant and their friends are awesome and will be the future leaders of Reliance.
