NetApp, which is an enterprise data storage has now revealed an Ontap 9.6 and new AFF A320 storage system platforms for the multi-cloud and hybrid environments that will be going to help its customers with the great speed, scalability, and better performance.
The platform will work across all the private, public, hybrid and multi-cloud and help the enterprises to manage the 5G streams apart from getting the use cases off the Artificial Intelligence, the company revealed.
The Indian-origin Kurian headed company cloud-connected flash solutions also provide customers with the analytics insights that can give them a competitive benefit as well.
“With the advent of technologies like 5G networks, a company’s ability to generate, gather and disseminate a massive volume of data will be enabled like never before and companies that aren’t ready are going to be overwhelmed,” said Joel Reich, executive vice-president, storage systems and software, NetApp.
The new advances will also accelerate the app performance and security apart from the simplifying the process, which even added that this will make the infrastructure future proof.
“As enterprises evolve to new, more data-centric business models where data is a key strategic resource, data availability requirements are on the rise,” said Eric Burgener, research vice-president, infrastructure systems, platforms, and technologies group at IDC.
NetApp FabricPool also now comes up with support for the Alibaba Cloud and Google Cloud platform, in addition to the Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and IBM cloud storage which also gives the customers an option to choose a provider which they are comfortable with apart from integrating with the private cloud.
