  • Nvidia Corp yesterday at an event in the CES revealed its drive AutoPilot platform with the latest artificial intelligence technologies which can enable the next level of self-driving cars by the end of 2020, which also further strengthens its position in the industry.
  • Driver AutoPilot is also a part of the Nvidia Drive Platform, as of now is being used by the hundreds of companies which is also involved in the self-driving cars, that even includes the Volkswagen AG, Uber Technologies Inc and also be some of the software developers, sensor, auto suppliers and mapping companies.

Nvidia Corp yesterday at an event in the CES revealed its drive AutoPilot platform with the latest artificial intelligence technologies which can enable the next level of self-driving cars by the end of 2020, which also further strengthens its position in the industry.

The chipmaker said that the German automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG and Continental AG will now also going to use the platform in their level 2+ self-driving system which is soon going for the production stage by the end of next year.

ZF is also working for the first time for the option of using a chip which is made by the rival Xilinx Inc along with the Nvidia.

The level 2+ autonomous vehicles would also add up with some of the greater automation capabilities such as the lane splits, personal mapping, lane change, and highway merge to the existing advances driver assist system(ADAS).
