Ola today revealed acquiring Pikup.ai, which is an AI startup which is based out of Bangalore.
As a part of the deal, the team at the Pikup.ai will be going to join Ola, according to the report.
Ola revealed earlier this year intent to set up an advanced technology center in the San Francisco Bay Area in America, to focus on developing some of the next-gen technologies in the mobility like Autonomous, Electric and connected vehicles.
“By bringing deep domain expertise to Ola, this acquihire will also deliver innovations that continue to improve safety and transform the customer experience,” Ola said.
Pikup.ai was co-founded by the Ritwik and Inder, which uses the autonomous technologies like the sensor fusion, computer vision, and AI to offer seamless AI-powered and supported solutions for the businesses, the company revealed.
“Ola is increasing its focus on using advanced analytics and deep technology to build futuristic mobility solutions for India and the world,” the company said.
