Gurugram-based marketing and branding company One Impression has acquired the digital assets of University Express, a youth-focused media startup. The details of the deal remain undisclosed.
Post acquisition, the clients of University Express will be consolidated under the One Impression brand and Rishav Kumar, CEO of University Express will be joining One Impression’s leadership team.
“I am excited for my new role at One Impression. This strategic alliance will help us scale our community and eventually become one stop solution for brands to tap Gen-Z and millennials,” says Rishav Kumar, Founder of University Express in a statement.
New Delhi-based University Express was founded by Rishav Kumar, along with Videt Jaiswal in 2012. It provides a campus media platform to deliver university news, along with providing other insightful columns, spread across major digital platforms to engage students.
The startup manages communities across 200 campuses across India, has partnered with more than 600 youth events, published over 6,000 stories with a strong community of more than 3,00,000 people.
One Impression can leverage the strong youth network of University Express to strengthen its presence among Generation Z demographic.
One Impression was founded by Apaksh Gupta in 2017. It provides marketing and content solutions to its clients to help them build their brands, in order to grow their business. It has managed more than 120 campaigns and generated over 500 million impressions, to date.
Among its vast list of clients include men’s grooming brand Bombay Shaving Company, furniture rental startup GrabOnRent, Healthkart, and Musical.ly, among others.
