SaaS Startup Celebal Tech secured $32M 1

Software consulting startup, Celebal Technologies, has recently raised an amount of $32 million, around Rs 261, crorefrom Norwest Venture Partners. This funding was raised in its first institutional fundraising round. 

Norwest Venture Partners is planning to pick a minority stake in the earlier bootstrapped firm. 

Celebal Technologies’s headquarters is in Jaipur, which aims to utilize the fresh funding capital to deepen its presence in existing markets over North America, India, and Asia Pacific. The company is also planning to spread its reach in new markets such as Europe, the Middle East, and Japan. As per the plans of company, a certain amount of the funding will be utilized towards increasing delivery capacity and building industry-focused solution accelerators.

Anirudh Kala, co-founder, and chief executive officer of Celebal Technologies, mentioned his words by saying that the company is bullish on the growth of the digital technology services sector and offshore delivery. With a strong DNA of innovation-led culture and customer-centricity, the company is backed by strong partnerships with Microsoft and Databricks. Celebal Technologies is well-positioned to capitalize on new opportunities and serve the fast-growing roster of clients.

Celebal Technologies was founded in the year 2015 by Kala and Anupam Gupta. The company’s operations belong to big data, data science, and enterprise cloud space. Being a partner with Microsoft and Databricks, the company offers differentiated services and accelerators on the Microsoft Azure and Databricks platforms providing services across various industries, including manufacturing, financial services, energy, CPG, retail, and healthcare.  

Avendus Capital performed as the financial adviser, and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Company served as the legal adviser to Celebal Technologies.
