It was only a week before this update, Samsung had rolled out an update for the Galaxy Note 9 users – to stop the device from accidentally activating the Bixby Assistant. So, without giving the option to disable it, the update made the Bixby button to pressed twice, so in order to activate Bixby.
The Above information regarding s9 update is from www.noypigeeks.com
The earlier problem was that, Bixby used to get activated with just one press of the button. This was really a great move from Samsung. Therefore, for users who want to change the settings, need to open the Bixby Voice App on their phones, and therefore go to the Settings by pressing on the menu option. On the Bixby Key Option, the user have to select either one of the following:
- Press once to open Bixby.
- Press twice to open Bixby.
By using this method you’ll be able to negate the accidental activation of the voice assistant.
