The food industry is bustling across India with a plethora of recipes and flavors. But Hyderabad-based startup Snackerstreet has emerge with a unique idea to serve the tastes in a convenient way. Co-founder Divya Medar is looking ahead to transform traditional recipes into frozen meals. She has a vision to preserve the authentic flavors without the use of preservatives. She has a plan to export the products too.
Divya said that they aim to deliver any traditional or modern product in a conveniently frozen form. No preservatives will be added and it will be just like how a chef makes it. However, it will be on a much larger scale. Snackerstreet will be known for its quality and authenticity in a market that is often dominated by preservative-laden and mass-produced frozen meals.
The plans are highly ambitious and paving the path to export the products to at least two countries initially. Snackerstreet is looking ahead to sharing diverse palette of Indian cuisine with the world. It has recently establishment an export-oriented factory certified with FSSC 22000. The certification highlights commitment to maintain highest standards of hygiene.
The business model is unique and mainly to focus on B2B partnerships. It is developing customized recipes for a variety of clients such as cloud kitchens, fast food brands, seafood processors, FMCG brands and export houses.
Divya added that they are the brand behind brands. They are looking ahead to offering unique and high-quality products. They will differentiate themselves in a competitive marketplace.
Divya was barely 23 when she had a vision to start with a business in the maiden field where startups were not yet the norm. However, she faced numerous challenges.
