Startup Odisha and Business Club of Entrepreneurs Join Forces to Empower Entrepreneurs

In a significant move to strengthen the entrepreneurship landscape in the state, the Startup Odisha initiative of the government has joined forces with the Business Club of Entrepreneurs (BCE) to broaden its horizons and ensure that its wide array of programs is within easier reach of a larger group of entrepreneurs. The partnership was marked during a vibrant Coffee Session held at O-Hub in Bhubaneswar. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Omkar Rai, the Executive Chairman of Startup Odisha and a couple of distinguished members of BCE. This gathering provided a fertile ground for dialogue, the exchange of ideas and laid the foundation for an exciting path ahead.

Startup Odisha plans to extend this partnership to other business associations in the state. It aims to reaching an even broader audience. By forming alliances with various stakeholders, Startup Odisha hopes to inspire more startups and entrepreneurs to become part of their dynamic ecosystem.

Startup Odisha is a part of the Odisha government’s MSME Department. It was founded in 2016. It supports startups, especially those led by women and marginalized groups, providing grants, incubation and exposure. The goal is to register 5000 startups by 2025 and they have consistently excelled as a top Startup Hub in India.
