Gurugram-based startup Stupa Sports Analytics has lately secured INR 28 crore in Pre-Series A funding round co-led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital. The company was founded in 2020 by Megha Gambhir and Deepak Malik. It specializes in sports analytics.
Stupa Sports Analytics aims to revolutionize sports performance and through AI-driven solutions. The fresh investment is learned to be utilized in bolstering talent acquisition, expanding globally and enhancing product offerings.
The startup primarily focuses on providing AI-driven player performance analytics to sports federations. This is said to be aiding them in streamlining their operations and management processes as well. It emphasizes data security and control over data monetization for the federations.
Megha Gambhir expressed the vision of her company to penetrate consumer market in India as well as in the United States. It will enrich fan and player experiences with their innovative sports technologies.
She said that the interest in sports is rising in the country and government is taking initiatives to promote sports culture. Hence, Stupa Sports Analytics envisions such a future where cutting-edge sports technology empowers all the three segments – athletes, federations and fans.
The startup has plans to expand in the US, UK, Australia, the Middle East and other key markets. It will strengthen its presence more in Europe and Asia. The current offerings badminton, tennis, volleyball, basketball and some more sports.
Stupa Sports Analytics has partnered with the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) and is engaged with more than 15 sports federations
