Startup VitusCare Raises $2.7M for Innovative Kidney Care

Startup VitusCare has managed raising $2.7 million of funding, which was basically led by Tomorrow Capital. The other investors include iCrowd and 3i Partners. Several individual investors too have supported with funds.

VitusCare is a Gurgaon-based company that focuses on kidney care. The fresh financial support will help it to boost its services and particularly in the rural areas. Kidney care facilities are limited in the rural parts of India.

The company was founded CEO Prabhat Shrivastava in 2017. It specializes in providing dialysis care. Currently, the company operates in about 30 centers across North India. Their approach involves partnering with various hospitals to ensure comprehensive dialysis services are accessible to patients. The services include providing necessary equipment, skilled technicians and personalized patient care.

With the fresh funding, the startup has raised a total of about $5 million. Apart from CEO Prabhat Shrivastava, the leadership team includes Dr. Saurabh Pokhariyal as Chief Medical Director and Pankaj Tandon as CFO. All of them are the co-founders of the company.

The funding will enable the company to expand further with access to high-quality kidney care services across the country. Their main focus will be on reaching the underserved regions and address healthcare inequalities.

By leveraging innovative approaches and strategic partnerships, VitusCare aims to make a significant impact in the field of kidney care. The efforts are believed to be improving the lives of such patients who are in need of dialysis treatment.
