Subex, which is a Telecom Analytics firm has now revealed a deal with the Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, one of the African nation leading telecom operators, for the deployment of its Analytics Centre of Trust solution.

With the help of this deployment, Econet will now be able to improve in operation efficiency by using the analytics insights to be derived from its database, Subex revealed in a statement.

Apart from optimizing, Econet day to day operations, the solution will also allow the telecom players to employ the prescriptive and predictive analytics in the multiple domains such as the cell site intelligence.

The BS listed, Subex revealed that the Econet was also building a strong, consumer-centric business to provide the accessible, innovative and simple communication solutions for its customers.

According to the company report, it was selected based on its proven expertise in implanting an analytics solution flexible across the different business cases around the technology, product, sales, customer and distribution, revenue and risk.

The deployment is also expected to help the Econet identify potential sites for the 4G upgrades and identify competitive and critical zones based on the segmentation of the customer.

“Our expertise in handling large volumes of data to derive digital insights significantly help our customers in both strategic and operational aspects of their business,” said Vinod Kumar, managing director, and chief executive of Subex. “This deal will increase footprint for our analytics solution, which is an important part in our growth strategy towards being the leaders in digital trust.”
