Bengaluru-based Thesys has secured $4 million (INR 33.7 crore) in seed funding led by Together Fund simultaneously participated with 8vc. The funding is to fuel ambitious vision of Thesys to redefine user experience through its “Generative UI” platform.
Thesys was founded by Rabi Shanker Guha and Parikshit Deshmukh. Its Generative UI platform is highly promising to make interfaces more intuitive as well as responsive but also to streamline design workflows. It allows teams to launch products four times faster.
Thesys stands out by prioritizing user experience as co-founder Parikshit Deshmukh said that the platform offers businesses an edge by enabling them to launch dynamic as well as AI-driven interfaces. It is especially relevant as businesses today are moving away from one-size-fits-all solutions.
Manav Garg, Managing Partner at Together Fund, praised the vision of Thesys and emphasized the need for real-time and personalized interfaces in today’s market. His confidence in Thesys aligns with a broader trend in India’s AI sector and it is that investors are increasingly favoring specialized AI models over massive foundational ones. Task-specific AI has gained attention and Thesys is well-positioned to capitalize on this shift.
The funding success of Thesys also reveals a wider AI investment wave that is sweeping through India. Hyderabad-based AI startup Pulse lately raised $1.4 million. Other startups like Febi.ai and Jhana.ai have also secured significant investments. India’s generative AI market is currently hosting more than 100 startups and is set to surpass $17 billion by 2030. The funding world is a gesture to the booming interest in generative AI applications that go beyond novelty and drive real business value.
