The startup which develops the Artificial Intelligence assistants for the small business, FrontdeskAI, has now revealed that it has secured $2 Million in the funding rod Pre Series A round led by the suneed stage venture capital firm Pi Ventures.
This funding round takes the total amount of the company to be raised so far to $4.2 Million, according to the report.
FrontdeskAI which is owned by the Vidurama Inc revealed that it would use the funds to accelerate the product development, investigate new verticals markets and increase customer acquisition.
The startup which is founded by the Srivatsan Laxman, and Supriya Rao in the year 2017, it creates the AI assistants specifically for the small businesses that rely on the appointment based services and products for their revenue.
The company current Artificial Intelligence portfolio serves the wellness market which includes the salon, spa and fitness industries.
“Our customers report a 30% increase in revenue, 20% increase in new client registrations and a significant reduction in class drop-outs. With the additional funding and the partnership with Pi Ventures, we are now in a position to deepen our IP (intellectual property),” said Laxman, chief executive, FrontdeskAI.
