Retention consultancy company WebEngage has lately announced accepting applications for its cohort-based startup program titled REV. Selected startups are to gain access to their AI-powered customer data platform (CDP) and analytics dashboard along with $25,000 in platform credits. All these are apart from the dedicated consulting services and some additional benefits given through strategic partnerships with venture capitalists (VCs), ecosystem partners as well as community networks.

A key focus of the program is to help the startups in addressing challenges of rising customer acquisition costs by developing retention-first strategies. A report reveals that customer retention is five times more cost-effective than acquisition. The WebEngage consulting model is said to deliver up to 10x returns on advertising spend for the companies.

WebEngage Startup Program established in 2021 and since then has supported more than 400 early-stage startups. Many selected startups in these years have secured funding or gained recognition on Shark Tank and other such platforms. Some of the previous participants are Perfora, P-TAL, House of X and Rang De. The program offers expert mentorship, workshops and community-building opportunities. It is basically designed to equip startups with the required tools for long-term growth and customer engagement.

Nitya Shah, Lead at WebEngage Startup Program, highlighted the significance of customer retention in sustainable business growth.

The deadline for REV applications is September 22, 2024. The program is running from October 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Interested startups can apply through their official website: WebEngage Startup Program.
