Whatsapp is soon launching a feature which allows the users to edit their pictures either send or receive. Currently, WhatsApp doesn’t provide this feature. But early this feature will be launched. From now on, users can use the Inbuilt editing app and need not install any other app for editing their pictures

The ‘Edit’ button gives users the editing tools that precisely the same to what you find right before sending an image to a recipient—you get to crop, add text and doodle on the image. The only difference here is that you can now edit photos that you have received or already sent to someone right from the application.
As of now, when someone sends you a bunch of images together, WhatsApp bundles them to show it as an album, with a download icon on top, which automatically downloads all the media files at once. However, per the change, iOS users will soon see the total size of the media files, and the number of images and videos in the album, so that users can decide beforehand if they want to download the full record or not
