Chatbots are the computer software programs which carry out the communications with people via lightweight Instant Messaging application, language-based rules, or mainly with the artificial intelligence(AI). Chatbots converse with users via natural language (which can be either voice or text) rather apart from that traditional website or app user interfaces.

Some of the companies which are using Chat bots as of now are: Slack, Amazon Echo, Facebook Messenger, Kik, and SMS to talk directly to users. These bot’s complete tasks like:

  • recommending outfits (H&M)
  • giving beauty tips (Sephora)
  • to do any of the direct ordering like Domino’s etc.
  • and much more.

Advantages of chatbots in today scenario:

More brand availability:

When the brand is available anytime, the customer experience and satisfaction levels become higher in the online market. Which leads to higher ratings, more word-of-mouth suggestions and social media traction from the target users.

In today scenario, companies also use the chatbots as a backup to online representation just like by a real person which will be far better in marketing new products and upsell customers in today scenario.

One-stop shopping potential:

A Chabot can easily be get activated with the help of a voice or keyword which than can assist the customer to create an all-inclusive shopping experience. Chat bot technology has evolved with time and now users can receive a response quickly just after asking it.

Natural communication:

A chat bot must be able to replicate the natural responses just like a real person has. They should be able to offer solutions and offer the right products at the right time. This makes the company efficient and responsible in the eyes of the customers.

Effective and efficient Customer Service:

We are living in a world of modern era, instant gratification and with that comes a certain level of expectation on behalf of your customer’s service. Chabot’s are just that, instant.
