A significant event is set to unfold on June 25th in Ahmedabad. It is from the house of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO). The organizer is hosting “Investor Mindscape: Emerging Opportunities in Startup Investment” at DevX in GIFT City, Gandhinagar. It is basically for the high net worth individuals (HNIs), angel investors, venture capitalists (VCs) and family offices.
FLO Ahmedabad Chairperson Kiran Sewani emphasized the importance of bringing together visionary investors and dynamic entrepreneurs. She states that it will foster a deeper understanding of the booming startup ecosystem in the country. She also added that investing in startups offers immense growth opportunities and especially for the aspiring women investors who are having disposable incomes. The perspective is crucial as the startup scene the region has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years. Ahmedabad is now a hotspot for potential investors.
Phani Trivedi, Head of the FLO Startup Cell, stated that many women invest in stocks and mutual funds. Hence, venturing into startups could be a logical next step for them. Women can start with small capital and may form a syndicate with friends.
The event will kick off with a keynote address by Awfficacy Capital founder Gautam Pai. He is expected to share his insights into emerging opportunities in the startup investment arena. The topic will be “Evolution of Startup Ecosystem: Comparative Insights and Gender Dynamics in Startup Investment” and it will be moderated by Priyanka Gulati, Head of FLO Angels, FLO National Startup Cell.
