Zoho Corporation has now revealed the launch of the Zoho Commerce, which is an ecommerce solution that will be going to help the small retailers to set up their ecommerce sites. The company has been using a beta version of the ecommerce solution for the past couple of years with the 4000 retailers across the globe, out of which only 10% were in India.
The ecommerce solution that comes in the monthly/yearly package with the minimum of just Rs 1000/months provides all the essential ecommerce feature which includes the shipping integration, product search, coupons, page builder, shopping carts and others.
According to Hyther Nizam, vp-product management, Zoho Corp, “People want to move away from marketplaces and have more control over their online sales and improve their margins,” he said. The product would be integrated with existing Zoho backend solutions like Zoho Books (accounting software) and Campaigns, an email campaign software.
Zoho commerce also comes up with the support of both the offline and online payments and the complete solution works on the cloud and analytics.
As of now, there are more than 500 million internet users in India, and this number will soon become 700 million by the end of 2020. The total size of the ecommerce market is around $22 Billion, and it is also expected to grow by the $50 Billion by the end of 2023.
Zoho commerce is powered and supported by the Zoho AI assistant Zia and is a GST compliant tool. Zoho as of now has 40 products across the different business categories which includes the sales and marketing, accounting and customer support.
