Kochi is abuzz with anticipation as it prepares to host the much-awaited fifth edition of Kerala Startup Mission’s ‘Huddle Global’ meet, slated to unfold its vibrant entrepreneurial canvas from November 16 to 18. With expectations soaring, this edition is set to claim the title of India’s largest beach startup festival, promising an assembly of over 5,000 startups and 300 mentors.
Nestled against the picturesque backdrop of Adimalathura and Azhimala, the coastal venues are gearing up to welcome a throng of 15,000 individuals and 150 global investors.
Past editions have seen the participation of over 5,000 startups from various corners of India and the organizers are optimistic about surpassing these numbers this time.
Distinguished speakers, a veritable who’s who from the entrepreneurial world, are set to grace the occasion. The lineup includes luminaries such as Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas, MP Shashi Tharoor, IT Secretary Rathan U Kelka and Mexican Ambassador to India Federico Salas Lotfe.
The festival offers a lot. A startup expo, workshops, pitch sessions, discussions on collaboration among Indian states, funding announcements, roundtable talks, investor meetups and mentor meetings. Ashok Panjikaran, head of business linkages at Startup Mission, reveals that more than 200 startups from India are set to leverage the expo to showcase their products, transforming the event into not just a business gathering but a vibrant beach festival that also promises to boost Kerala’s tourism.
Huddle Global stands as a collaborative effort, organized in partnership with Startup India, Headstart, TiE Kerala, GTech, Startup Middle East, Habitat for Humanity and Technopark. With its grand ambitions and diverse offerings, Huddle Global 2023 is poised to be an important event in India’s startup landscape, fostering innovation, collaboration and growth.
