Mark Zuckerberg’s introduced a new feature which is named as ‘Following’ tab. This following tab is going to be helpful for the users who see posts from people they follow in chronological order. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed on Threads with the caption, “Ask and you shall receive” by responding to a user who made a request for this particular feature.

Zuckerberg mentioned that he is planning to initiate a launch of an option for a chronological feed of only people the users are following respectively.

Now the question that comes to mind is: How to make use of the Following tab on Threads?

Threads still reflect the “For You” tab by default; hence the users will only have to tap on the home icon on the bottom left of the app or the Threads logo on the top. It is inevitable to mention that the user needs to follow the same process every time they open the app.

If clicking on the icon doesn’t change the feed to the Following tab, there may be a chance that the feature is not launched for you.

Along with this, Zuckerberg added a new translation feature that allows users to translate a post. Adam Mosseri. The head of Instagram introduced the features like hashtags, increased search functionality, editable posts, full desktop mode, and the ability to restrict the replies on the posts.

Threads app was launched as an alternative to Elon Musk’s Twitter which is now termed X. Threads already has over 100 million users onboard.

Elon Musk has rebranded the Twitter app to ‘X’ to make it an “everything app” that is inclusive of audio, video, messaging, payments, and more, just like China’s WeChat app. The Twitter name made sense when it was just 140-character messages going back and forth – like birds tweeting.
