Rajasthan too is in the race of startup ecosystem after recent spikes of related events in Delhi, Odisha, Gujarat, Kerala, J&K and other Indian states. It has again come up with a flagship event called TiE Smashup 2024. It is the 8th edition and is learned to be offering a unique chance for the startups to connect directly with more than 25 institutional investors from across India.
The TiE Smashup 2023 was a great success and was supported by the Rajasthan Government’s Istart program. Five startups were committed to get funded. Yes Madam secured Rs 75 lakhs and Boba Bhai received Rs 50 lakhs from Warmup Ventures. Strangify was funded with USD 60,000 from Ratnada Ventures. Headfox Innovation Pvt. Ltd. and Cellverse Pvt. Ltd. managed in securing Rs 50 lakhs each from Realtime Angel Fund.
TiE Rajasthan President Dr. Sheenu Jhawar highlighted the impact of the state’s flagship event for startup ecosystem and stated that it has evolved into a national brand. The platform helps startups gain visibility abreast of getting attention from global venture capitalists.
Boba Bhai thereafter raised substantial seed funding of Rs 12.5 crores at a valuation of Rs 50 crores following its success in the TiE Rajasthan 2023. Yes Madam, My Body Affairs and Hexpression too witnessed success on Shark Tank India.
Some other startups which tasted success after participating in Smashup event includes InfraHive (Aivinya) by getting listed on the esteemed 500 Global Alberta Accelerator 2023 Batch-5 in Canada, Caldor Health Technologies, Garaaz (Svan Autotech Pvt. Ltd.) and The Loom Art.
